Elmo and his Sesame Street friends are here to show little ones that their parents love them so much. Get ready for counting, color concepts, opposites (big and small, rainy and sunny) and most of all, love.
Elmo and his mommy are snuggling before bedtime. She tells him that she’s always loved him, and always will. Then, she counts the ways. First up are numbers and playing with familiar Sesame Street friends. Then he travels around, learning about colors and flowers, and Cookie Monster’s very blue toes. Big Bird lends a hand to demonstrate height, and Oscar the Grouch shows us it’s easier to be loved when you’re sweet. Bert and Ernie run fast and slow. Then Elmo finishes with a big hug and kiss from his mommy, and she says “I love you just like this.”
This is an adorable story about love and all the ways parents feel it for their children. Elmo and his Sesame Street friends are instantly recognizable and totally cute. Kids will enjoy pointing out their favorite characters, and talk concepts like short and tall and near and far. A great book that covers several concepts all at once, while demonstrating the power of a parent’s love. The bright illustrations are very engaging, and the rhymes are fun to repeat over and again.
Recommended for fans of Sesame Street and children who like rhyming books.
