The ABC’s have never been more fashionable in this delightful alphabet book.
Follow adorable friends as they traipse through the alphabet while exploring the world of fashion and clothing. Some of the alphabet pairings are traditional (Z is for Zippers) and others are more modern and fun (Y is for Yoga Pants or V is for Vintage). Some of the scenes in the book are quite chic and will make the adult reader smile. The very simple text is great for the earliest readers to follow along as well. It focuses entirely on the letters of the alphabet and the clothing pairing.
The illustrations are what really shine in this book. The cast of children is artfully rendered in beautiful and colorful scenes. Best of all, there is a great mix of races and ethnicities represented. It looks like the real world, and for that this reviewer was grateful. All parents and children will feel more connected with the book because they can see themselves represented in it. Each of the children and adults in the illustrations are beautiful and unique.
This would be a great gift for the fashionista in your life who is having a baby, or the budding toddler fashion designer. This is a unique take on the traditional ABC’s, and is executed perfectly. Recommended for new readers and fans of the fashion world.
