Celebrate Groundhog Day with this imaginary story that is both entertaining and fun to read!
The rhythmic verse in “Pushball” helps early readers remember word sounds and look for similar sounding words to complete the rhyme. This creates an enjoyable reading and learning experience. The book also teaches an important life lesson based on an ancient proverb … the way to success is achieved through persistence and determination.

My mother used to tell her children “the longest journey starts with a single step” Whenever we were putting anything off or slacking, we knew what would be coming next.
Good message presented in an entertaining way!
“Tell us why you are excited to win this giveaway or share a favorite proverb.” “Early to bed, early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise”!
Working hard to reach your goals is a lesson all children should learn! Mine would love this book!
Our grandma used to say, “Do something, even if it’s wrong”–but only to the shy, reticent granddaughter, never to the bold, reckless ones. Remembering that makes me laugh, but it also reminds me that good advice is not one-size-fits-all.
Where there’s a will, there’s a way. If you want it badly enough, you will find a way.
In it to WIN it!
My dad always told us to “if life gives you lemons, you better make lemonade”. It makes you think that disappointments and setbacks can be overcome if you have the right attitude.

associate with fools and get in trouble (13: 20)”

I have two grandchildren that love story time. I am always looking for new books to read to them.
I would love to win these books not only because I have two adorable granddaughters that enjoy books immensely, but also because I volunteer mentor three students each week who enjoy these books and help their home libraries grow. They are not read to at home and are so thrilled for us to read together and get to keep the book. Lastly, this story is a part of my early twenties!
