Dedicated Emails

Here are the two options we have for email design:

JPEG Ad: Client supplies image:
    •    Width: 600 pixels, Height: 1024 pixels.
    •    Creative accepted: One file, PNG, JPG, GIF, or HTML.
    •    Web images should be saved with the RGB color profile or mode.
    •    Maximum file size of 1MB for images—a minimum of 72 dpi recommended.
    •    One URL click tag is accepted.

True Text Advertorial: The client supplies:
    •    A book cover and supporting images (PNG, JPG, GIF, or HTML).
    •    Web images should be saved with the RGB color profile or mode.
    •    Maximum file size of 1MB for images—a minimum of 72 dpi recommended.
    •    Book tagline (5-10 words).
    •    70-250 words of text.
    •    One URL/call-to-action link.

Podcast Book Spotlights

Have your book spotlighted on The Growing Readers Podcast. Package Includes:

  • Podcast Pre-roll: The podcast pre-roll offers sponsors the opportunity to get in front of listeners right before the episode kicks off—voiced by TCBR talent, approx. 15 seconds in duration, inserted into the front of an episode.
  • Podcast Book Spotlight Mid-roll: A book synopsis feature of 45-60 seconds, mid-roll in the episode. All mid-rolls are surrounded on both sides by the episode content, voiced by a TCBR voice, and include a music bed.
  • Podcast Post-roll: The podcast post-roll offers sponsors the opportunity to get into listeners’ ears at the closing of the episode—voiced by TCBR talent, approx. 15 seconds in duration, inserted into the end of an episode.
Flat rate per Podcast Book Spotlight: $300 (The spotlight remains audible on an agreed upon episode for 12 months.)

The Children’s Book Review reserves the right to decline advertising at our discretion. Ads will be accepted based on their compatibility with our content.

  • Banners are accepted in JPEG, GIF, and animated GIF formats. File sizes cannot exceed 50k.
  • Banners can be published on the The Children’s Book Review home page, all content pages, and our e-newsletter.
  • Ad rates and policies are subject to change without notice.
  • After banner graphics and URL approval, we accept payment by check or via PayPal.
  • Discounted rates are available when you choose to advertise for 3 or more months at a time.
