Seems like this book teaches a good life lesson.
When I experience big emotions, I often turn to my eldest niece, who is both very pragmatic and a very good listener. Like her mother before her, she offers very good advice and is very understanding, walking me through both the emotional and the logical aspects of the problems or decisions I am facing. I am lucky to have this support.
A good book that teaches about feelings.
This sounds like a cool story.
I would be so happy to include this book in a box I am putting together to send to my niece, who teaches in a grade school that struggles to obtain the supplies it needs for the students who come from hardworking families with very few resources.
This is a good picture book.

This sounds like a heartwarming story.
My grandma was a great person to turn to with big feelings. She was a calm voice, not judgmental, but with good advice, and funny. I still hear her voice in my head when I am looking for “what to do now, what to do next”, even though she has been gone more than thirty years.
This book has lots are giggles and laughs!
Thank you for writing this book.
I have been experiencing some big feelings lately–lots of impatience and frustration with our dog, who is frantic over wearing his e-collar. And by frantic, I mean yelling and turning around in circles and trying to paw at his surgical site 20-22 hours a day. So I’ve been working on managing my emotions and on being kind to myself when I make mistakes. It’s humbling to know that I am still dealing with these issues as a 59-year-old woman. But I also remember that when I was little, it meant a lot for me when the “grown-ups” in my life acknowledged that they were having the same problems I was.
I’m a believer in prayer helping with big emotions. Also, meditation and the use of mantras. And seeing a counselor in those situations when the “big feelings” are ongoing. As well as turning to a circle of loved ones who can see you through whatever situation set off the emotions. These days, that circle can be online as well as in person, so we’re lucky that way.
