This is a great list, Bianca. I enjoyed the diversity and breakdown of the categories. It is so hard to know which story is good for a specific age-group of children, but The Children’s Book Review breaks each title down nicely so that it is easy to see which titles would be appropriate for every individual child. I think it is great that you are taking the time to show your experience with children’s books, through your own family, to the world. Being partial to younger children’s books because of my own experience, I was particularly interested in your bestselling picture book section, although your bestselling series books retained my attention as well. I wonder if you saw the float in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade of the main character from Diaries of a Wimpy Kid. I know that seeing such a familiar and quickly becoming beloved character made me smile.
Keep up the great work!
Thanks for your kind words, Jeff! It was great to see a kid lit character represented in the Macy’s Parade.
