I’m pretty sure dogs dream about food – and, if it’s a good dream, they get to eat it. Otherwise, it’s a nightmare.
That is so true I know she usually dreaming about treats!!!
Running all the time.
Yep she’s always running I have to wake her up when she whimpers!!!
my sons think they dream of them, playing and running
Hi Rebbeca, I think your son is correct, except dogs have the luxury of running and playing while napping! What a life:)!!!
I think they dream of playing, eating and chasing cars. What a great book.

Lol! Lefty better not think about chasing any cars, I will ground her for a week!
I know my dog Snick dreams about getting belly rubs all day. He gently grabs your clothes any time you try to stop 🙂
Snick sounds like a sweet and gentle pup????
They’re so loyal, they must dream about spending time with their “owners.”
They probably are dreaming about their owners sometimes we have to spend so much time away from them being at work ,they wish they could just be with us more often ,just like we wish we could be with them.
I think dogs dream about running and barking, chasing and playing with other critters and getting treats!
I agree Diane, when I bring Lefty to the dog park to play with the other pups, I often think Instead of setting up a lemonade stand,I should set up a ice cream puppy stand! Genious, right? 🙂
I am sure my dog dreams of squirrels, sometimes one, sometimes, sometimes two and sometimes a whole scurry!
Lefty is so friendly, she would love to have some squirrels as her friends!
I think dogs dream about chasing critters, running in the park, meeting new friends, swimming and playing fetch, barking at strangers, exploring and getting into trouble 🙂
Hi Shelley! Lefty is a black lab so she does love to swim, especially after a long walk, she likes to cool off her belly! As for barking at stranger, I need to teach her how to do that! She tends to want to run up and lick them!!!
Treats and chasing animals.
Ping, always treats! My Lefty sleep walks to the cabinet where her treats are hidden! Guess I need to hide them someplace else!
I think my dog dreams about fun things like fetching a ball his favorite past time!!
Hi Nancy! I have to addmit, when I try to play fetch with Lefty,I will throw the ball she will look up at me and expect me to go fetch it! Either she’s very smart or she just doesn’t get it!!!
their owners of course
I agree! Sometimes I feel we are connected even when we sleep!❤️
My dogs probably dream of lying in my lap and having their tummies rubbed while I am reading.
Ahh, maybe your puppys would like it if you read to them!!
I think dogs dream about playing fetch and chasing small animals while they are sleeping.
Oh for sure! Then there are shoes, Lefty loves to bring me shoes, only problem, she only bring me one!!! Then I have to search for the other one!!! Lol!!!
