Henry is bored. Sitting on the steps of his house, he wonders what he can possibly do with such a boring day. Then, his mother proposes going to the most boring place in the whole world: the grocery store! Could his day possibly get any more boring? Just when he thinks he can’t take the boredom anymore, things start to get exciting. First, his shopping cart transforms into a spaceship, with him as Captain. Then, he battles a ferocious cereal box monster (using lactomissiles); a sticky, stinky cheese monster (using a fiery blow-torch); and the terrible Broccolisaurus monster. By the time they finally reach the checkout, Henry has to admit that his mom was right—the grocery store isn’t so boring after all!

Even for adults, it can be hard to find anything exciting about mundane chores like the weekly shop.
