What to expect: Fox, Friendship, and Rhyming Text
When a moon fairy delivers a jar of Happy Love Sprinkles to a shy and lonely fox, he sets off on a journey to make his wish for friendship come true.
When Critter opens the jar of sprinkles, the colorful crystals take to the wind, leading him to a sprout who feels too small, a songbird who can’t sing, and a raccoon that is unhappy about his looks and love of cakes. As the sprinkles reach each of them, their spirits are lifted, friendships form, and a woodland party blooms. Is it magic that helped them to find joy and friendship? Or is that if you follow your heart, friends will follow? Yes, definitely the latter.
Readers will readily go on this enchanting, rhyming journey with Critter and his animal friends, enticed by the swirling colorful crystals that sweep across the pages through fields, flowers, and forests that gently glow in soft candy colors. The creators have included a recipe that teaches readers how to make a jar of Happy Love Sprinkles, encouraging kids to find the magic in giving.
Happy Love Sprinkles is a charming picture book that makes a thoughtful gift for any young reader who may be shy or needs a little help to find meaningful friendships.
