    Peggy Ducky is a first-time author & illustrator of children’s books. She has been an animal lover all her life and hopes to make a difference by being the voice (through her words and pictures) for animals in need. Peggy lives in California, where she writes and draws with the family dog Kona napping on her lap, and with inspiring sounds of jazz, classical & electronic music playing in the background. ” Hello, Forever Home?       We have 8 rescues who live in the house with us. I think the kids could really relate to the story of Kona.

      My grandgirls have heard me talk about my service dog Kona many times. They love hearing their parents read to them at night and this would be the perfect book for them to hear.

      I am a former teacher and this was the name of my service dog so this is just great. I would love to have so grandkids could read!
