What do you do when you have a cat with an exceptionally long tail? Why you give it a really long name, of course. CougaMongaMingaMan is the tale of a tail (and the cat to which it is attached) which draws quite a lot of attention for its exceptional length. As CougaMongaMingaMan gathers with his neighborhood feline friends each day we are introduced to a unique cast of characters, all of which make for a fun and interesting read.
Author Nancy Scalabroni has created an imaginative story where the cats are the main characters and all their personalities shine as she portrays the leisurely life of this interesting group of friends. Kids are sure to enjoy this children’s picture book which is sure to ignite their creativity.

The children’s picture book CougaMongaMingaMan Meets Maggie, by Nancy Scalabroni, is a story of a cat with a long name to match its very long tail.
When CougaMongaMingaMan’s family brings home a new dog, Maggie, Couga is not too keen on the idea. Couga, who prior to Maggie’s appearance was an only pet, wonders if he will be displaced now that Maggie has arrived on the scene. When he gets together with his other cat friends he expresses his concerns with them. Most of Couga’s friends agree Maggie could be trouble, but then some of his friends suggest that he should give Maggie a chance.
Author, Nancy Scalabroni, has written a book to which kids will relate on many levels. This book has a positive message which will speak to the hearts of youngsters who may be struggling with accepting change. This story, as it correlates to new siblings, provides a strong message of love and acceptance. CougaMongaMingaMan Meets Maggie would make an excellent gift for youngsters with a baby brother or sister on the way and is recommended for home and school libraries.
About the Author
Nancy was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, where her grandfather settled after arriving from England. She moved to Miami and then Lake Tahoe, Nevada, after attending college in Atlanta and London. Nancy currently resides in Rancho Palos Verdes, California where she is busy working on the third book of the Couga Series. Nancy happily traded in her nursing career to pursue her long-time interest in writing children’s books. The Couga Series, is based upon her cat, Cougar and his extremely long tail, who lived until the ripe old age of seventeen.
