We are Joined at the Heart is a bedtime story that teaches about unconditional love.
We Are Joined at the Heart
Written by Yonette Belinda
Illustrated by Rosemarie Gillen
Publisher’s Synopsis: We Are Joined at the Heart was birthed out of a simple, short poem written to my daughter when she was a baby. It describes the deep and pure love for a child. The original poem was meant for my now four-year-old daughter to bring her comfort when we were apart. I soon discovered that she had been memorizing it and would try to recite the words with me. It is my hope that the words contained in this book can be used to comfort the hearts of children and affirm the love that each child deserves and needs. Its message is both symbolic and literal. Love never fails.
