Taking the taboo out of POO!
Justine Avery is the author of many books for kids and adults, and she is undoubtedly on a roll (pun intended) with this picture book addition. Everybody Poops! would make a fun addition to the home library of those who are potty training and those that have a notorious “poop holder” in the house. Be prepared to giggle along as young readers go poop-spotting through the pages.
Everybody Poops!
Written by Justine Avery
Illustrated by Olga Zhuravlova
Publisher’s Synopsis: Everybody poops—it’s true! It’s time to blow the door right off the bathroom, and shine a light on what happens on the loo.
For the little ones just discovering the contents of their diapers and nappies, the bigger ones needing reassurance that their most mysterious bodily function is as natural as can be, and the biggest ones who still hold a fondness for toilet humor, Everybody Poops! is piled high with bold and audacious illustrations and the truth about who’s doing the pooing: every body is doing it!
Sure to insight giggling fits and all-ages laughter, Everybody Poops! exposes the least talked about fact we all have in common the world over and among all walks of life, benefiting the youngest of us by opening the discussion, promoting comfort with their bodies, and helping them feel included. Poo pride!
“The rhyming text is confident, catchy and to the point. It’s really quite fun to say the word poop or poops or poop-poop more than thirty times in one sitting—and certainly not a strain.” — The Children’s Book Review

I would love to win to share with my children and to dispel a little bit of the anxiety around this topic.
I’ve seen & heard the stress little ones feel while “pooping”. Two of the grandkids during potty training actually cried and got very upset over the fact the toilet was flushed. The youngest told his mom that was his and cried for awhile while she tried to explain. 🙂
I would LOVE to win these Kindle’s for my daughters who love to read. In fact, my 6 year old daughter is a self proclaimed author and writes and reads her books to the class. My potty training tip is to praise a child when they make progress and not punish them when they can’t do something. There are a lot of funny potty training songs on YouTube that my daughters loved that got them excited about going to the potty. They would often sing the songs on the potty.
From our 8 year old: I had 3 cans of alphabet soup for lunch. Tomorrow, I will have the biggest vowel movement ever. He was giggling so hard, he could barely tell the joke! Thanks for the awesome giveaway opportunity.
Potty training isn’t for wimps! My best tip: have a “clean up” kit handy. You’ll thank me later.
Potty training has just started….
Consistency & patience are the key to success. If we slide backwards, so do they. Give them some reward to work towards.
Stay consistent, every 2hours at the start. Get them nice undies and show them how nasty their new undies can get. I don’t like pull ups they are to much like diapers for a big boy/girl.
One of my granddaughters is potty training now. I think she would like this book.
I am excited! to win because in about 3 more month my daughter will be potty training her daughter, and I think this would be wonderful for them. I can only tell parents as I have told my daughters , is to be patience and expect a few fails before the reward..

My old style with potty training is always let the child gear themselves first. After that it just worked for us here!
Looks like an interesting book, My aunt advised me with my children to wait until they take their diapers off themselves, this would be the time that the child is ready to be potty trained.
My best tip is to not get frustrated. Every kid learns at his own pace!

This is an awesome contest with amazing prizes, thanks for the chance!
I have three potty training tips:
I helped my son learn how to aim by using cheerios for target practice.
Always keep books nearby so the little one has something to occupy their attention while they do their business.
It’s better to use training pants, sometimes little ones can’t feel that they have gone if they are wearing pull-ups.
And remember poop happens 🙂
This book sounds like a cute and funny story to share with my nieces and nephews who are about to be potty trained. Potty training is stressful and does take a lot of patience.
I would love to win this for my nephew and niece who are both starting soon to be potty trained and they would love this thanks for the chance to win it for them.
I am excited to win this giveaway for my daughter.
I am excited to win this book because we have two grandchildren about ready to potty train. Every little bit helps them with it. Best advice, be patient.
This would be a fun and perfect incentive for my youngest. He’s soo resistant to potty training right now. My first two kids were easy peasy to train, but Brantley is my challenge. This book might make the difference because he loves being read to as well as pictures.
this book is awesome. i bet its funny
My best potty training tip is to wait until they’re ready and not to push the issue. Jelly beans and chocolate chips also worked well as incentives in our house.
My Grands are just getting into reading and would love this set. They would get a kick out of the stuffed emoji and so would their dad.
I am just crazy about the poop emoji!
I think this is a necessity to teach children that this is normal. Make them comfortable to talk about this if they have any problems. Children may be having problems that are serious or could lead to serious problems if they don’t tell someone because they are too embarrassed.
Everyone Poops, plain and simple, but never spoken about. A very vital function everyone has and this book is perfect to get the conversation started with kids to teach them how important it is to poop and to poop often. Would love to win as an educational tool for my niece.
This would be great to have for potty training!
you can never have enough books to read especially when you learn from it
This will be perfect for a friend with 2 toddlers.
I am excited to win this giveaway because I have a grandson who will soon be potty training. This is a cute giveaway. Thanks for the chance.
I would love to win this to share with my grandkids.
We just potty trained my Grandson. Even before we started, he went to daycare and went to the bathroom when he had to go. The teacher came in and asked him what he was doing. He saw the other boys that were potty trained go to the bathroom and he thought he was supposed to do like them. That was his goal to go potty at daycare. It’s so funny how kids imitate others.
Cute potty joke for everyone. Why couldn’t the toilet paper cross the road? It got stuck in a crack!
